Female Frag Fest ’99 Finals announced puts another piece of PC gear into the September hardware pile, and 1999 is not exactly short on that right now.
All Games Network will fly six regional finalists to New York City for the last round of its Female Frag Fest ’99, a national computer gaming tournament that began in July and will conclude with a fierce Quake II competition during the Ground ZERO event on Thursday, September 9, 1999, at 6:00 p.m. at The Puck Building, 239 Lafayette Street, NYC. Finalists battled a field of nearly 100 women to win an all-expense paid trip to New York City for the chance to duke it out in person. The FFF ’99 is a one-on-one deathmatch Quake II tournament hosted by Lillith and Eve, a weekly AGN show for female gamers.
The hardware race is getting mean, and the upside is simple: gamers keep getting faster, stranger toys to bolt into their rigs.
