Courtesy of Microsoft’s Pandora’s Box, the next generation puzzle game by Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov, gamers can piece together an image of the Age II box art in a new interactive puzzle demo that can be downloaded here. Scheduled for an October 1999 release, Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings is the sequel to the award-winning, best-selling real-time strategy game Age of Empires.

The hardware race is getting mean, and the upside is simple: gamers keep getting faster, stranger toys to bolt into their rigs.
