For those new to Age of Empires, the trial version provides the William Wallace Learning Campaign, which teaches players the fundamentals of the game. In this campaign, the warriors of Scotland attempt to hold off an invasion of the better-equipped English armies. Players will take command of the highlanders and learn the basic concepts of the game, such as how to build an economy. Listed pricing shows US$49.95, so this is not vapor sitting on a press sheet.
