Thief Gold is now shipping, adding one more game to an October release calendar that already looks like somebody kicked over a filing cabinet.

The useful part: Thief Gold is the special collectors’ edition of Looking Glass’ critically acclaimed Thief: The Dark Project, a first person “stealth” action/adventure game. The title contains three new missions along with updated versions of Thief: The Dark Project’s twelve previous missions, which have undergone additional tuning and play balancing. Thief Gold was developed by Looking Glass Studios and published by Eidos. Thief Gold continues the story of the world-weary master thief Garrett. Listed pricing shows $10, so this is not vapor sitting on a press sheet.
