MyLeague.com has been announced, and the pitch is now loose in the wild for PC and console players to start arguing about.

The useful part: The MyLeague service is offered at no charge. In the past, all aspects of online leagues were controlled by the site powering them. With the creation of MyLeague the power has shifted directly to the hands of the users who can now set up and control their own leagues. The users will have the power to customize the look and feel of the league, choose the rules and format, and decide on any rewards and penalties. File it under the usual 1999 PC pile: interesting, crowded, and probably fighting five other releases for attention.
