The useful part: Participants can sign up two-person teams starting today through October 22 by visiting the special MechWarrior3 Meltdown microsite. The Meltdown begins with two days of single elimination rounds on October 23 and 24. The remaining teams will do battle on October 30 to determine the two co-champions – the Masters of the Clan Squad and the Masters of the InnerSphere. These four finalists will compete in the live finals on November 13 at GameWorks in Seattle, WA and ride away on 1999 Harley Davidson Fatboy. Listed pricing shows $150, so this is not vapor sitting on a press sheet.
