Septerra Core goes Gold
Septerra Core has gone gold, which means the code is done and the next stop is a box on a store shelf. In October 1999, that is the magic phrase: stop tweaking it, start pressing discs.

The useful part: Septerra Core is a futuristic fable set on a world of seven continents that float, one above the other, around a central, living computer core. With the scope and grandeur of a mythological epic, Septerra Core features strong characters and an intricate storyline set in a fantastical, anime-inspired universe. Gameplay combines traditional role-playing elements, an easy-to-use adventure interface and fast-paced, strategic combat. Septerra Core was designed by the well-known creators of Beavis and Butthead in Virtual Stupidity, and reflects the team’s true love for fantasy. No score yet, obviously, but gold status means the waiting game is almost over.
