HEAT.NET has launched 10SIX, its massively multiplayer action-strategy game built around a world that keeps running 24 hours a day. After a public beta that pulled in more than 60,000 players, the game is now ready for paying customers.

10SIX mixes first-person shooter pressure with real-time strategy management. Players buy, sell, and trade equipment while four corporations fight over a persistent world that keeps moving even when players log off.

A seven-day free trial is available, followed by subscription options of $9.95 for one month, $25.95 for three months, or $49.95 for six months. Persistent online games are turning into the wild west, and 10SIX is riding in with a rocket launcher and a ledger.
