3D GameGauge Version 2.0 Released hits the March 1999 news desk on March 15, 1999. Less than a year since unveiling its landmark 3D graphics measuring system, Computer Gaming World, a Ziff-Davis publication, unveiled 3D Game Gauge Version 2.0.

The Version 2.0 announcement was made by Computer Gaming World Technical Editor Dave Salvator at the 1999 Game Developers Conference in San Jose. Computer Gaming World introduced 3D Game Gauge at last year's conference in Long Beach. The only real test starts now. Boxes, demos, patches, and downloads do not mean much until players start hammering on them.
