3Dfx and STB merger clears FTC waiting period
3Dfx Interactive and STB Systems today jointly announced that the Federal Trade Commission has granted early termination of the waiting period under the pre-merger notification requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, with respect to the Agreement and Plan of Reorganization dated December 13, 1998, between 3Dfx Interactive and STB Systems.
