3DO Reveals Its E3 1999 Line-Up

3DO has revealed its E3 1999 line-up across PC, PlayStation and N64, more Army Men, plus BattleTanx II, High Heat Baseball 2000 and Crusaders of Might and Magic.

The 3DO Company has announced the slate of games it’s bringing to this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, spanning PC, PlayStation and Nintendo 64.

The plastic army marches on: Army Men: Air Attack puts helicopters front and centre on PlayStation and PC, while Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes heads to PlayStation and N64 and is slated to ship this fall, in time for the holidays. Army Men III brings Sarge and Bravo Company back to the PC for another round against the Tan Army.

Beyond the green plastic, 3DO is showing BattleTanx II, the sequel to its popular tank-action game; High Heat Baseball 2000, which the company is happy to call the best baseball game around; and Crusaders of Might and Magic, a new 3D action/fantasy title bringing the Might and Magic world to consoles.

It’s a broad spread that leans hard on the Army Men brand, we’ll see how much of it holds up once it’s off the show floor and in our hands.
