Allegiance Official Site Launched is today’s update from the October 1999 desk, and there is enough here to make retro PC players pay attention.

The useful part: Coming to stores in Spring 2000, Allegiance will be playable on the MSN Gaming Zone as well as independent game servers worldwide. Allegiance combines the social challenge of squadron-based combat with stunning graphics and immersive environments and sound effects. In Allegiance, players can pilot and customize many different classes of ships, from scouts to fighters to battle cruisers. They also have the ability to switch between a variety of combat roles, including pilot, turret gunner or base commander. File it under the usual 1999 PC pile: interesting, crowded, and probably fighting five other releases for attention.
