Caesar III Olympics Online Competition

Impressions Games and Sierra Studios today officially recognized the Caesar III Olympic Games online competition organized entirely by fans of the title Caesar III.

Caesar III Olympics Online Competition is the story today, and it is the kind of late-April 1999 news blast that makes the pre-E3 season feel like someone kicked the hornet nest. Impressions Games and Sierra Studios today officially recognized the Caesar III Olympic Games online competition organized entirely by fans of the title Caesar III. The Caesar III Olympic Games, organized by Paul Bamberg who is a fan of the series, commence tomorrow, April 30th. Both Impressions Games and Sierra Studios will publicize the contest on their respective Web sites and will provide prizes for the winners. While Caesar III does not include a multiplayer component, it has spawned a huge online community that tracks results and rankings on the Internet.

It may not be the same thrill as a fresh demo, but this stuff shapes what actually reaches players. Boring paperwork today can turn into games on shelves tomorrow.
