Carmageddon2 Ships

Interplay Entertainment announced today its holiday action title, Carmageddon2 - Carpocalypse Now, for Windows 95 based PC's, has shipped to retail outlets nationwide.

Carmageddon2 Ships is the story on November 23, 1998, and it is one of those late-1998 PC gaming updates that says exactly where the scene is right now. Interplay Entertainment announced today its holiday action title, Carmageddon2 – Carpocalypse Now, for Windows 95 based PC's, has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. Developed by SCi, this killer car game is sure to cure road rage within any holiday driver.

Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now maintains the thrash and trash formula of fun, freedom and pedestrian splattering action that caused so much attention in 1997's smash release of the original. Chaos and destruction will once again rule the virtual highways as Carmageddon2 brings enhanced 3D graphics to this multi-player racing game. With improved 3D graphics and a redesigned physics engine, the environments are expansive and fully interactive, enabling players to smash windows, plow into trees, and mutilate anything standing. Drivers and hardware updates are not glamorous, but when they fix a game or unlock a card you already paid for, they matter.
