Civilization: Call To Power for Linux

The next generation of the best-selling Civilization game series, Civilization: Call To Power, is set to launch the first line of commercially available games for the Linux platform. Under an agreement with Activision, Loki Entertainment Software today announced it will port and market a Linux version of the highly anticipated strategy game, Civilization: Call To Power, which Activision expects to release for the PC platform in spring 1999.

That is the latest from the January wire. Small item, sure, but the PC gaming world moves through small items like this, one download, one update, and one promise at a time.
