Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty announced

Eidos Interactive has announced the March release of Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty. Incorporating the characters and functionality of the original game, this eight mission, stand-alone product features new locations, higher resolution graphics, new weapons, and new mission objectives in this puzzle oriented real-time strategy game.

For January 1999, this is the business side of gaming doing what it always does: studios forming, publishers moving money around, lawsuits flying, and everyone promising the next big thing. Somewhere in that mess, players eventually get the games. Maybe.
