THQ confirms Darksiders II as a Wii U launch title, bundling the Argul's Tomb DLC and using the GamePad for maps, inventory and gyro controls.
THQ has confirmed that Darksiders II will be a Wii U launch title, and the new version comes loaded. It bundles the first DLC expansion, Argul’s Tomb, along with all the pre-order bonuses from the other editions.
It also leans into the GamePad: the touch screen handles goals, the map, and quick access to inventory and abilities, while the controller’s gyro lets you evade attacks and steer during riding and swimming sequences. It’s a strong showing for the new console out of the gate.
