Dawn of Darkness Beta Demo Tomorrow

Ward Six officially revealed that Friday, April 23rd, will be Dark Friday, the day that the Dawn of Darkness beta demo is unleashed on the internet gaming community.

Dawn of Darkness Beta Demo is now in gamers’ hands, or at least close enough to start hammering download servers. Ward Six officially revealed that Friday, April 23rd, will be Dark Friday, the day that the Dawn of Darkness beta demo is unleashed on the internet gaming community. The demo will require version 3.17 or higher of Quake II and is set to be available from the Dawn of Darkness website. Though it isn’t a final version, it is indicative of the rest of the title and should answer many questions about the gameplay that have remained rather mysterious. The website will include online documentation to supplement the demo, including some hints as to how to get through the level included in the package.

Bottom line: if this is your kind of game, start watching the download pages and store shelves. April has been stupidly busy, and this one just joined the pile.
