Dominant Species Release Date Announced hit the wire on October 5, 1998. Red Storm Entertainment announced the October 15 launch of Dominant Species. Dominant Species provides players with all the ammo they need to outwit the invaders.

The game features 27 unique creatures, each with its own special capabilities, that Mindlords can use as an army against the attackers. Players plan their strategies in a real-time, realistic environment complete with a day and night cycle that affects creature behavior. Replayability is endless, as players can create their own terrains and missions through a built-in level editor. The game also has full multiplayer capability.
