Updated Drakan Demo Surfaces on Gigex With New Dragon Attack

Surreal Software has an updated Drakan demo out, spotted first on Drakan.Net. The new build actually went live on the Gigex servers last week, but nobody announced it, so word is only spreading now.

It is essentially a fresher cut of the beta: fewer bugs, refined AI, and one genuine addition in Arokh’s Lightning Attack, which comes with a seriously slick effect. The catch is the size. This is another download north of 60 MB, and Gigex is currently the only server known to carry it, so modem gamers get to decide whether one new dragon attack is worth tying up the phone line all night.
