CCP Posts New EVE Online Ship-Balancing Dev Blog

CCP details its EVE Online ship rebalance in a new dev blog, covering frigates, destroyers and a mining-barge overhaul with a new mining ship.

After last year’s player riots, CCP has been working hard to bend EVE Online back toward what its players actually want, and a big part of that is a sweeping rebalance of ships. We saw the first of it in the Inferno update’s frigate changes.

In CCP Ytterbium’s new dev blog, the studio lays out its vision for the rest of the frigates, changes to destroyers, and a notable overhaul of the mining barges, including a brand-new mining ship. It’s worth a read if you fly in New Eden.
