EXSTETRA HD Remaster arrives on Steam, console versions follow September 3

FuRyu has released EXSTETRA HD Remaster on Steam, with Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 versions set for September 3, 2026. A 20% launch discount runs through August 12 and covers both the standard release and the Digital Deluxe Edition, which bundles the Item Set and Rune Set DLC packs.

Originally released for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita in Japan, EXSTETRA is a fantasy RPG built around protagonist Ryoma and a mechanic where kisses channel the power of “Exstetra” to awaken allies. The HD Remaster is the game’s first release outside Japan. FuRyu is also running a broader Steam publisher sale with discounts across its catalog during the same window.

The Rune Set DLC adds equippable Runes covering physical and magical resistance, critical-hit bonuses, HP and MP drain, and counter effects. Reset Runes strip applied enchantments from gear. The base game and Digital Deluxe Edition are discounted during the launch sale.
