Fallout 2 Shipping

Black Isle Studios, the role- playing game (RPG) division of Interplay Entertainment announced the release of Fallout 2, the highly anticipated follow-up to the consensus choice for 1997 Role-Playing Game of the Year.

Fallout 2 Shipping hit the wire on October 26, 1998. Black Isle Studios, the role- playing game (RPG) division of Interplay Entertainment announced the release of Fallout 2, the highly anticipated follow-up to the consensus choice for 1997 Role-Playing Game of the Year. Fallout 2 is currently in the duplication process, and will be shipping to software retailers everywhere Thursday, October 29, on CD-ROM for Windows 95-based and 100% compatible computers.

Fallout 2 promises much of the outstanding post-apocalyptic role-playing experience of the original, with the addition of many of the features and gameplay options players asked for after the release of the first game. The Fallout 2 development team has implemented numerous modifications they believe will exceed the expectations of the original game, including improved combat artificial intelligence, non-player character interaction and more weapons and quests. The game area has been enlarged over 100% more and has no time limit.
