FireTeam Beta

More bits for the download pile. Multitude announced it will launch a limited Beta test of FireTeam, an innovative Internet-only game that combines fast-paced team action with real-time, TeamTalk voice technology. Opening the FireTeam experience to a wider audience than ever before, this key test phase will be executed primarily to test server capacities before the game is made available on a large-scale through select retail outlets early next year.

It may not be the biggest story of the month, but FireTeam Beta is exactly the sort of thing PC players are tracking right now.
