July 1998 keeps moving, and today the headline is simple: FreeSpace 1.03 Released. Volition announced that the FreeSpace 1.03 Update is available now for US-release versions.

July 1998 keeps moving, and today the headline is simple: FreeSpace 1.03 Released. Volition announced that the FreeSpace 1.03 Update is available now for US-release versions.

The UK, French, and German versions of the Update are in final testing and is set to be available soon. If you have the US release, you can get the new update by hitting “Update FreeSpace” in your FS Launcher, or you may download the manual updater from their Updates Page. This update improves many of the Internet play issues people have been reporting For PC players watching every demo, patch, driver and announcement right now, this is one more thing to keep on the board.
