Game Developers Unite by using GLSetup is the latest item crossing the POCG news desk. Proving that a little cooperation goes a long way, a group of game developers announced GLSetup, a project set to revolutionize the way 3D hardware accelerated games are created and delivered on Microsoft Windows.

Entering Public Beta Test alongside the Quake3: Arena Test, GLSetup eliminates the frustration game players experience while trying to get their latest 3D accelerated game to run properly. GLSetup frees game developers to choose the OpenGL 3D graphics API as their primary interface to the 3D hardware by providing an easy and painless way for their games to deliver tested and up-to-date OpenGL drivers to game players. GLSetup is included on a game’s CD-ROM, and is run as part of the game installation process.
