GameSpy 3D v2.05 Released

GameSpy 3D Version 2.05 has just been launched form the brand new GameSpy Website.

GameSpy 3D v2.05 Released is the story on November 11, 1998, and it is one of those late-1998 PC gaming updates that says exactly where the scene is right now. GameSpy 3D Version 2.05 has just been launched form the brand new GameSpy Website. The new version has support for Sin, Shogo, Blood 2, and Heretic II and it's still good for finding Quake, QuakeWorld, Quake II, Unreal and Hexen II servers.

We added a new feature for registered users in this version, which is called SmartSpy. It gets a list of all the servers available and then runs them through the criteria you select — for instance, you want only CTF servers — and then it pings only those servers. Which saves you a ton of time. The business side keeps moving, and sometimes those deals decide what we actually get to play next year.
