Half-Life Linux Server is out now. Valve has announed that they just released the Half-Life dedicated server for Linux, v.1.0.0.9., which includes Team Fortress Classic support.

It’s approximately 80 MB, and should only be downloaded by people wanting to run the dedicated server on Linux. This release supports x86 Linux machines. The code was compiled on RedHat 5.2 with glibc. To install the server, download hlds_l.1009.tar.gz from this location. mUntar/unzip the file and read the linuxreadme file for further instructions. The late-90s PC scene is not slowing down, not even a little.
