HyperMegaTech’s new Super Pocket packs 34 Activision Atari 2600 games

HyperMegaTech has added an Activision edition to its Super Pocket lineup, a $69 handheld that comes pre-loaded with 34 classic Atari 2600 games originally published by Activision. The list covers heavy hitters like Pitfall!, River Raid, H.E.R.O., Kaboom!, and Pitfall II: Lost Caverns, plus a deep bench of lesser-known titles from Chopper Command to Thwocker. It’s the same hardware as earlier Super Pockets, 1.2 GHz ARM CPU, 2.8-inch 320×240 display, and remains compatible with Evercade cartridges.

Pre-orders are open now, with units expected to ship September 28, 2026. At seventy bucks, it’s a cheap way to grab a ready-made Activision collection on dedicated hardware, though the shoulder buttons on previous Super Pockets have drawn complaints. If you’d rather pick your own mix, there’s always the expansion port and Evercade library. For everyone else, this is a pocketable slab of Atari 2600 history with no ROM hunting required.
