Kingpin Goes Gold, Hits Stores by End of June
Xatrix has finished Kingpin and sent it off to manufacturing after 13 months of work. The shooter should be in stores by the end of June.
Kingpin is done. Drew Markham over at Xatrix says the game is finished and off to manufacturing, and it should land on store shelves before the month is out. Word comes via Blue’s News.
The whole project took Xatrix just over 13 months, which is fast for a shooter with this much ambition. Markham says the team paid close attention to the comments on the demo and worked a good number of the requested features into the single player game. Multiplayer got its own pass too, with the focus on getting straight deathmatch feeling well balanced.
Thirteen months from start to gold. Somebody at Xatrix has not slept since last spring.
