Michael Jordan Joins Electronic Arts’ Lineup puts another piece of PC gear into the September hardware pile, and 1999 is not exactly short on that right now.

today that the company has reached an exclusive agreement with basketball legend Michael Jordan to be a spokesperson for the EA SPORTS’ brand and appear in the company’s sports interactive games, including the popular NBA LIVE basketball game. Jordan, who made his reputation by flying through the air on his way to six NBA championships, ten scoring titles and five Most Valuable Player awards, retired at the end of the `97-98 season after 14 years with the Chicago Bulls. With EA SPORTS, Jordan will appear in NBA LIVE 2000 interactive games available this fall for the PC, Nintendo 64 and PlayStation gaming consoles.
