Monster Truck Madness 2 Tournament

Today the MSN Gaming Zone begins sign-ups for Tundra Madness, a Monster Truck Madness 2 tournament in which the winner will be crowned the Duke of Dirt and walk away with a brand new Toyota Tundra.

Monster Truck Madness 2 Tournament is the story today, and it is the kind of late-April 1999 news blast that makes the pre-E3 season feel like someone kicked the hornet nest. Today the MSN Gaming Zone begins sign-ups for Tundra Madness, a Monster Truck Madness 2 tournament in which the winner will be crowned the Duke of Dirt and walk away with a brand new Toyota Tundra. This new full-size pickup truck packs in a V8 engine, access cab, 4-wheel drive, and is valued at $30,000. For the Tundra Madness tournament, the Zone has created a customized version of its action/racing Monster Truck Madness 2 CD game. In April and May users will gather on the Zone in as many as three free online multiplayer heats, with each heat providing opportunities for advancing to the next level.

It may not be the same thrill as a fresh demo, but this stuff shapes what actually reaches players. Boring paperwork today can turn into games on shelves tomorrow.
