Motorsport Simulations Launched

Bob McCarthy, a nine-year veteran of Internet networking and online gaming, today announced the launch of Motorsport Simulations, a new company dedicated to creating state-of-the-art racing simulations. Motorsport Simulations plans to release a number of titles in 1999. All products will be published by Motorsport Simulations as single-player standalone games at retail, and online racing products via Motorsport Simulations internet racing community.

For January 1999, this is the business side of gaming doing what it always does: studios forming, publishers moving money around, lawsuits flying, and everyone promising the next big thing. Somewhere in that mess, players eventually get the games. Maybe.
