New Matrox MGA-G200 Drivers Released

The important bit: Matrox released new drivers for the Matrox MGA-G200. This product includes a display driver and the Matrox PowerDesk for Windows 95/98 for the G200 only (including G200 PCI).

New Matrox MGA-G200 Drivers Released drops into the hardware pile today, which means another driver, card, audio update, or 3D oddity for those of us still fighting with Windows 95 and 98 boxes.

The important bit: Matrox released new drivers for the Matrox MGA-G200. This product includes a display driver and the Matrox PowerDesk for Windows 95/98 for the G200 only (including G200 PCI). The new drivers also have DirectX 6 support, and also fixes bugs for several games such as Flight Simulator 98, Half Life, SiN, and Grim Fandango.

Driver news is not glamorous, but when a card suddenly stops choking on a major game, nobody complains. This is the unsexy stuff that keeps the whole beige circus running.
