This fall, Westwood Studios proudly invites gamers around the world to experience Nox, a game of savage combat and sneaky tactics set in a mystical land filled with discovery and deceit. An action/role-playing game, Nox is the first of a new franchise for Westwood Studios. Nox’s lightning-fast action is fueled by a combat system that’s easy to use yet gives players tremendous gameplay depth and infinite possibilities.

For January 1999, this is the business side of gaming doing what it always does: studios forming, publishers moving money around, lawsuits flying, and everyone promising the next big thing. Somewhere in that mess, players eventually get the games. Maybe.
