The hardware race keeps getting louder. NVIDIA Corporation said it has received a copy of a press release alleging that 3Dfx has filed patent infringement lawsuit against NVIDIA in the U.S. District Court in Northern California.
The release by 3Dfx claims that NVIDIA is using a patented multi-texturing technology in its RIVA TNT product, the world’s fastest graphics processor. NVIDIA, a leading 3D graphic processor company for the mainstream PC market, has yet to be served with a formal complaint.
