Tetris Creator’s Pandora’s Box Gets a Free Trial Download

Microsoft has released a free trial of Pandora's Box, the new puzzle game from Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov, with eight puzzles across two cities.

Microsoft has posted a free trial version of Pandora’s Box, the new puzzle game from Alexey Pajitnov. Yes, that Pajitnov: the man created Tetris, which buys any puzzle game of his all the attention it wants.

The setup: seven tricksters escaped when Pandora’s Box was opened, and your job is to recover the box’s missing puzzle pieces before the tricksters wreak havoc on the world. The trial has you chasing the trickster Maui through New York and Paris, with four puzzles to solve in each city. The full retail game goes much wider: ten puzzle types with more than 350 variations, spread across a puzzle-solving trip around the world that ends with the box reassembled.
