Quake 3 Arena Screenshots

id Software has released some official Quake 3 Arena Screenshots. The shots were taken from the technology demo of Quake 3 Arena that John Carmack gave at MacWorld this year. Quake 3 Arena is still very much a work in progress, and the screenshots are by no means final.

It is not a full release, but it is still something to chew on. In the old web economy, a handful of screenshots, a developer note, or a new FAQ could keep a community buzzing for days.
