Re-Volt Announced

Re-Volt lands in February 1999 as PC hardware makers keep pushing faster chips, cards, drivers, and gaming peripherals.

Re-Volt has been announced, adding another target to a 1999 calendar already packed with more games and gear than anybody has time to play.

The names attached here include Acclaim Entertainment, PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Developed, and Acclaim's Probe. The platform angle centers on PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64. The hook is multiplayer and racing. The hard numbers include Nintendo 64.

The hardware race is getting mean now. Every new board, driver, chip, and oddball peripheral is trying to be the thing that makes your rig feel less old by next week.
