Settlers III goes Gold

Blue Byte Software announced today their upcoming Real-Time Strategy game, The Settlers III, has gone gold, and is on schedule to hit store shelves November 20, 1998.

Settlers III goes Gold is the story on November 10, 1998, and it is one of those late-1998 PC gaming updates that says exactly where the scene is right now. Blue Byte Software announced today their upcoming Real-Time Strategy game, The Settlers III, has gone gold, and is on schedule to hit store shelves November 20, 1998. It will have a retail price of $39.99.

It's an immense god sim with a real-time, strategic simulation of prosperity, tactics, combat and growth. In the game, you are able to control the full cycle of your civilization's evolution, from the initial planning and building of its infrastructure, to the conflict of race against race in the quest to expand your power and domination. The business side keeps moving, and sometimes those deals decide what we actually get to play next year.
