Acclaim Announces South Park: Chef’s Luv Shack Trivia Game

Acclaim has announced South Park: Chef’s Luv Shack, a multiplayer trivia party game due this fall on PC, Nintendo 64, and PlayStation. Acclaim Studios Austin, the team behind last year’s South Park game on Nintendo 64 and PC, is handling development, and the game is based on Comedy Central’s animated series.

The setup: Chef hosts, and up to four players take the roles of Cartman, Kenny, Kyle, and Stan in a mix of trivia showdowns and minigames pulled from the show, including Cartman’s German Song, Beefcake, and Spank the Monkey with Mr. Mackey. Show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are recording all-new soundbites for the game, along with Isaac Hayes. A trivia party game is a better fit for this license than another shooter, if you ask me. Four players, wrong answers, and Cartman in the room: this one sells itself.
