TFC Release Schedule hits the March 1999 news desk on March 26, 1999. Valve Software let me know that the release of Team Fortress Classic, which is part of our Half-Life v.1.0.0.9 update to the general public, originally scheduled for has been delayed a week to Friday, April 2nd so that they can fix a few bugs and have time to test the fixes.

Also the LAN Party release, originally scheduled for Wednesday of this week, should go out this afternoon. Also they plan to release the server software for download mid-next week so that those of you hosting dedicated servers can download it and get your servers up and running before the general release on Friday. The only real test starts now. Boxes, demos, patches, and downloads do not mean much until players start hammering on them.
