Thief Gold AVI Released

Thief Gold is today’s update from the October 1999 desk, and there is enough here to make retro PC players pay attention.

The useful part: Thief Gold is the special collectors’ edition of last year’s critically acclaimed Thief: The Dark Project, a first person stealth action/adventure game. The AVI features a mission briefing of the Mage Towers mission, one of three new missions that are featured in Thief Gold along with updated versions of Thief: The Dark Project’s twelve previous missions, which have undergone additional tuning and play balancing. The companies also announced that the ship date for Thief Gold has been moved up to October 28th. No score yet, obviously, but gold status means the waiting game is almost over.
