Thief Gold goes Gold

Thief Gold has gone gold, which means the code is done and the next stop is a box on a store shelf. In October 1999, that is the magic phrase: stop tweaking it, start pressing discs.

The useful part: Thief Gold is the special collectors’ edition of last year’s critically acclaimed Thief: The Dark Project, a first person stealth action/adventure game. Eidos and Looking Glass will be distributing additional AVIs, screen shots and game details in the coming weeks in anticipation of the November 2 street date of the title. Thief Gold is being developed by Looking Glass Studios and will be published by Eidos. Listed pricing shows $10, so this is not vapor sitting on a press sheet.
