THQ Acquires Pacific Coast Power & Light is the latest item crossing the POCG news desk. It has completed its previously announced acquisition of premier game developer Pacific Coast Power & Light Co. (PCP&L), formerly known as Don Traeger Productions, Inc.

PCP&L. is an independent game development studio focused on creating select action and sports game titles for high-end computers and leading consoles. The company is based in San Jose, is now a subsidiary of THQ. Industry veterans Don Traeger and Dennis Harper will continue to manage PCP&L as president and vice president of product development, respectively, for the leading high-technology game developer of next- generation consoles.
