Total Annihilation: Kingdoms Goes Gold, in Stores June 25
Cavedog says Total Annihilation: Kingdoms has gone gold and should hit store shelves by June 25, with four European language versions launching alongside it.
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms has gone gold. Cavedog broke the news in its own forum: the game is off to manufacturing and should be on store shelves everywhere by June 25, with German, French, Spanish, and Italian versions launching at roughly the same time (street dates may drift a little from country to country).
Kingdoms trades the original’s metal armies for fantasy: four distinct races fighting over the mythical world of Darien, each tied to one of the four elements, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, with you playing one of their immortal monarchs. The fighting rolls out over forests, ruins thick with magic, and open ocean, all in 3D terrain. Total Annihilation is still my benchmark for real-time strategy, so eighteen days feels like a long wait.
