Total Annihilation: Kingdoms Release Date

Cavedog Entertainment, a wholly owned subsidiary of GT Interactive Software, today revealed the pending worldwide release of Total Annihilation: Kingdoms in June.

Total Annihilation: Kingdoms Release Date is the story today, and it is the kind of late-April 1999 news blast that makes the pre-E3 season feel like someone kicked the hornet nest. Cavedog Entertainment, a wholly owned subsidiary of GT Interactive Software, today revealed the pending worldwide release of Total Annihilation: Kingdoms in June. The immense fantasy real-time strategy game promises to dramatically improve the real-time gaming experience while retaining all of the original Total Annihilation elements that have made the title an innovative leader in its genre. Unlike the original Total Annihilation, which centers on the war between Arm and Core for control of a galaxy, Total Annihilation: Kingdoms quickly involves gamers in a pitched battle for dominion over the mythical world of Darien. gamers find themselves controlling one of four unique races, each with dozens of units at its command, such as dragons, knights, trolls and giants.

Bottom line: if this is your kind of game, start watching the download pages and store shelves. April has been stupidly busy, and this one just joined the pile.
