This patch addresses a potential security hole in the Tribes Server software that could allow players (Clients) to take over a Server and give themselves cheats, crash the server, modify Tribes files on the server, and generally wreak havoc on the server. It is a highly recommended downloadfor Server Operators. If you do not operate a server, there is no need for you to download this. This download includes all changes made in version 1.4 as well as addressing the security issue.
