July 1998 keeps moving, and today the headline is simple: Vegas or Bust: Monster Truck Madness 2 Tournament. The Internet Gaming Zone and Microsoft announced that they are sponsoring the “Vegas or Bust” MTM2 Tournament, a two-day online extravaganza in which the top two finishers — one from each day — will receive airfare, accommodations, and spending money to compete in the Vegas Challenge event at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.

Signup has already begun, and ends July 30, 1998, at 7 A.M. Pacific Standard Time. This two-day event tourney will take place on August 1 and 2, 1998. For PC players watching every demo, patch, driver and announcement right now, this is one more thing to keep on the board.
