Virtual 1999 Baseball All-Star Game Announced

Microsoft says former Major League Baseball managers Chuck Tanner and Jim Frey will play out the 1999 All-Star game before it actually happens to determine this year's winner.

Microsoft has the latest July 1999 move: Virtual 1999 Baseball All-Star Game Announced. Microsoft says former Major League Baseball managers Chuck Tanner and Jim Frey will play out the 1999 All-Star game before it actually happens to determine this year’s winner.

Tanner will manage the National League team while Frey will field the American League team on the virtual diamond of Microsoft Baseball 2000. Those anxious to know how the 1999 All-Star Game will turn out may get an advance look when former MLB managers Tanner and Frey participate in a computer simulation of this year’s All-Star game using Microsoft Baseball 2000, an easy-to-use, true-to-life Major League Baseball game for the PC which lets players of all skill levels have a grand-slam experience.
